Woven with threads that have a soft, matte finish rather than a shine — so the multi-color stripe feels rich and sophisticated rather than flashy.

I chose the palette with care, layering deeper, more grounded tones in place of the bright contrast you often see in striped ties.

I named it Murano, after the Italian island long known for its glassmakers — like them, our ties are entirely made by hand in an artisanal workshop.

It's a tie in the old-world tradition, where sophistication comes through in the details — the restraint of the colors, the quality of the weave, a design that speaks for itself.

• 100% silk jacquard: This luxurious fabric is made on a special jacquard loom, the pattern results from elaborate weaving of different colored threads and is often slightly textured to the touch.

• Self-tipped: We tip our ties with the same fabric as the front. This not only adds refinement but also prevents unsightly curling at the point, and as you move, the backside looks fabulous, leaving a lasting impression.
